A Bible Thrown from a Train Changed an Entire Village
An angry Soviet guard threw a confiscated Bible from a moving train going from Hungary to Austria. It landed near a village at the border, where some children discovered it by the tracks.
The villagers in Hungary, seeking truth and God in their lives, hand-copied every page over two years before returning the original to the address inside because they had no access to Scripture.
What was seen as a discarded Bible sparked revival for an entire village to know God and make the decision to give their lives to Christ and follow him. Even in the most unlikely situations, God’s Word will never return void.
This is the heart of the Hope Line Community. When you give monthly, you help carry God’s Word across nations, languages, and generations, hand to hand, ensuring timely access to Scripture across 36 countries and 32 languages to those hungry to know God just like the villagers in Hungary.
