1.1M+  Requests for Bibles

Why William Tyndale?

Five hundred years ago, William Tyndale translated the New Testament into English.

Tyndale believed that every person should have access to and be able to read God’s Word for themselves. Not just priests. Not just scholars. Everyone. He gave his life to make that possible. He was hunted, exiled, and ultimately martyred for it.

But the mission he carried did not die with him.
You can continue that mission with us.

Today, five centuries later, millions of people around the world are still waiting for a Bible in their own language. In Ukraine, years of war have produced a documented surge in requests for Scripture. In Iran, people are asking under active legal restrictions. Across Europe and Asia, entire generations are searching for something true.

1.1 MILLION

REQUESTS FOR BIBLES

Around the world people are asking for God’s Word in their language.
You can answer that request.

Youth reading Bible

EEM has been responding to these requests for 65 years, through a trusted network of international partners who know exactly where Scripture is needed and how to place it.

Right now, 1.1 million of those requests are still waiting for an answer. That’s why we are delighted to be launching the 2026 Hope Campaign, where for just under five dollars, you can place a Bible into the hands of someone who has already asked for it.

Each one will be delivered to a specific person, in their own language, at the moment they are ready for it. Free of charge.

William Tyndale gave everything he had so people could access Scripture in their own language. Today, someone in a country you may never visit, is still waiting for Bible in their language.

You can answer that request.
